Temptation rarely annouces itself. Many will imagine evil to look obvious, to look like something frightening, frightening enough that no person of faith would ever mistake it for good. Time and time again, scripture reminds us otherwise.
The Prince of Darkness delights in imitation. He disguises lies as truth, pride as confidence, and selfishness as compassion. What appears harmless at first may slowly draw the heart away from GOD.
And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. (2 Corinthians 11:14)As you go about your week, be mindful of the influences you welcome into your home. Avoid superstition, occult practices, fortune telling, and teachings that contradict the Word of GOD. Pray often, read scripture daily, and seek wisdom and guidance whenever doubt arises.
Remember: not every voice that sounds kind speaks with good intentions. Stand firm in faith, and let the Lord GOD's truth guide your steps.
